Description
Established in 1895, the Antinori estate stands as the cradle of Tignanello, the pioneer vintage of which emerged in 1970. This Tuscan gem swiftly gained international acclaim within a few short years. Tignanello, a refined cuvée, encapsulates the essence of Tuscan fine wines, blending Sangiovese (80%), Cabernet Sauvignon (15%), and Cabernet Franc (5%). Aged for 14 months in French oak barrels, this wine reveals an intense ruby colour when poured into the glass.
The nose delights in the forefront with ripe, red fruit aromas. Tignanello is coveted for its robust structure and captivating aromatics. Abundantly fruity, it strikes a balance of power, richness, and refinement, showcasing robust tannins and enduring palate persistence. This delightful cuvée is enjoyable straight from the bottle, yet it boasts excellent aging potential. Pair it harmoniously with dishes such as beef, tournedos Rossini, and lamb.
