Description

Amarone Bertani della Valpolicella DOCG 1967: dark intense red in colour with slightly garnet reflections. The aroma is intense and captivating, immediately striking with its richness of expressed aromas. It starts with mature red fruits like blackberry, blueberries, and plum, followed by sweet spices, tea leaf, liquorice, dried fruit, and cocoa. On the palate, it impresses with pleasantness, featuring significant yet velvety tannins that fill the mouth. Softness and acidity make this wine intense and unmistakably characterful. The finish is long, savoury, leaving the mouth dry and inviting another sip. Excellent now but destined to improve with age.
