Lorenzo and Martina were great hosts. We loved the whole evening, delicious food and a Negroni prepared by Martina and of course the enormous steak. We ate inside with our hosts and enjoyed such a great night of food and conversation. We left having two new friends in Florence.

This experience is a must do while visiting Florence! Especially as a solo traveler, I am not sure if I would have been able to have a traditional Bistecca Fiorentina dinner otherwise. Lorenzo and Martina are thoughtful, engaging, welcoming hosts who serve high quality, local food in a lovely environment outside of the city. And it’s a great way to meet other travelers.

If you’re in Florence, you MUST book this experience. I had the most wonderful evening with Lorenzo and Martina. It was so relaxing, the setting outside in the yard was beautiful, and the food was absolutely out of this world. It was such an intimate and personal evening and I really enjoyed getting to know Lorenzo and Martina. The bistecca was the best I’ve ever had. When I’m back in Florence I will absolutely be booking this again.

We had the absolutely best time! Lorenzo and his lovely girlfriend Martina have created a phenomenal experience – the best wine, amazing appetizers, and the steak? By far the best I’ve ever had. We booked this dinner very last minute and Lorenzo was extremely accommodating. The whole experience was incredible. From the moment we stepped out of the taxi Lorenzo and Martina kindly met us at the gate to greet us and were so welcoming into their home. We were spoilt with a great amount of delicious food and wine. The best steak and wine we have ever eaten! Couldn’t recommend this experience more highly and I couldn’t fault a thing. I can’t wait to come back to Florence and do it all over again!

I highly recommend this experience if you want a traditional and delicious Bistecca alla Fiorentina. We were a group of 7 and Lorenzo and Martina were very welcoming hosts! The experience was hosted in the garden which was very peaceful. We started with a lovely entre of delicious cheese and home made salami. Lorenzo started cooking the Bistecca on the wood fire bbq and explained how it’s done. It tasted amazing! We finished with some dessert and espressos – a lovely afternoon.

Lorenzo and Martina were the perfect hosts from beginning to end! Lorenzo lined up a driver to pick us up from our Airbnb and take us back at the end of the experience. Once we arrived we learned that we would be the only guests that night so it was really nice to have a private experience- although we were looking forward to meeting others as well! The meal was fantastic and the local wine selections were perfect! I highly recommend this experience!!
